Casino Developer Big Donor of Charlie Crist Campaign

The development company hired by the Seminole Tribe of Florida to expand its casino gambling empire has given $100,000 to a political committee working to boost Attorney General Charlie Crist’s campaign for governor of Florida. The donor, Coastal Development Corp., owned by Richard T. Fields, wrote a check on July 18 to the Conservative Values Coalition, a third-party political group that has promoted Crist’s campaign.
